The Mission at Kern County is the largest provider of comprehensive homeless and addiction recovery services in the Bakersfield area. Providing shelter, meals and homeless services for more than 60 years! In 2012 we served more than 200,00 meals and provided 95,000 nights of shelter to those displaced.

The Mission at Kern County is the largest provider of continuous emergency shelter and recovery services in our community. We provide comprehensive care for men and women experiencing homelessness and life controlling problems. Last year, The Mission provided more than 94,000 nights of shelter, and nearly 200,000 meals to our less fortunate neighbors. The Mission also provides spiritual restoration and nourishment to those who need it most.
